Libby has all the qualities required for a very competitive field trial dog. She is an excellent marking dog, very trainable and loves the water. She has never lost a cripple and does not quit when the going gets rough. Her first place in the Amateur clearly demonstrated these qualities. Her first three series were nearly perfect ensuring a call back to the last series. Twelve dogs, including the current NFC, were called back to the last series, the water marks. Only five dogs completed the water marks and only one dog, Libby, completed the water marks without being handled.

Libby meets the criteria for temperament and conformation as set forth in the Breed Standard. In addition, she has two wins in the non-regular conformation class for field trial bitches.

Libby also has great presence in the obedience ring. She heels with her head and tail up as if to say, look at me.
